Good Girl Gracie

Gracie is Chris' dog.
When we were home we were able to fit in a lot of playing time.
She's a good dog.

Tacos and photos

This semester I have been relying on easier cameras to capture our daily life. Rather than hauling around my heavy-ish digital camera I've been snapping photos with cheap-lightweight disposable cameras, my fisheye camera and my phone camera. Once the semester eases up, work load-wise, I'm sure I'll get back into taking more "serious" photos. Until then I will have fun with cameras that would probably be destroyed in one drop.

This photo was taken when we went home to California for spring break.
It wouldn't be a trip home if we didn't eat at a taco truck for multiple meals.
Caden, Chris' youngest brother took the next four photos. I like that he chose to take photos of his bedroom, the family dog, the flowers and the front patio.
I'm a proud sister in law.

A good day.

Today was one of those good days.
Jessica and I explored a little, ate some taco truck, thrift store shopped, then played with the baby. I love days like this where nothing is rushed, and little things are enjoyed.
Life is good.

South Bear Creek this morning

This morning Merced was blessed with 70 degree weather.
It was a beautiful thing.

Sunset Beach, CA

Today I decided with myself that someday, even for a short amount of time I will live near the beach.
The beach calms me down. When my feet touch the sand and I hear the waves the not important things in my head are forgotten. It's more than wonderful.

These are some photos I took while on a beach trip with some friends from Church. We went to Sunset Beach, right outside of Watsonville. I almost feel like this beach can be a part of my "home" series. This is where my family always went when we needed our "beach fix."

Can I go back yet?

Mi casa

It's so nice to be home.
But really.

This week I will begin my new photo series.
Stay tuned :)
