The Longest Blog Post Of All Time

Are you ready for 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 photos?
I hope so.
In 1992 we were in the Merced Sun-Star parade of babies section for Easter. As in our photos were right next to each others on a whole page full of babies. What are the odds?
Our parents didn't even know each other! Crazy right?
November 15, 2009 we started dating.
From January-July 2010 we had two 3 month breaks of not seeing each other while I was up attending school at BYUI. Thank goodness for skype!
September 2010 Chris left to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was called to the Hartford, Connecticut mission. During this time we communicated by letters.
August 24, 2012 Chris came home from his mission!

And this is what happened on Wednesday, August 29, 2012...
We went on a double date to Pinecrest. After hiking for about 20 minutes the group split up. Chris and I headed towards some water to cool down in. It was here that he proposed and I said yes! It was perfect. Afterwards we hiked back to the car. I think we stopped every 5 minutes to look at the ring on my finger and say "Dude, we are getting married!" or just "Dude!" We had some pizza from heaven for dinner, walked around some more, then headed home.
Hands down, the best day ever.
The giant rock at the bottom of the next photo is where it all went down.

And that's that.
We will be getting sealed in the Fresno Temple on December 21.

San Diego: Day four

Day four is where the San Diego trip ends.
We paid a visit to the San Diego Temple and my Grandparents grave.
I love temples and families and how they go hand in hand.

A good day.

Today was one of those good days.
Jessica and I explored a little, ate some taco truck, thrift store shopped, then played with the baby. I love days like this where nothing is rushed, and little things are enjoyed.
Life is good.

San Diego: Day Three

Day three was entirely spent in Sea World.
We arrived around 11am and didn't leave until 10pm.
We watched the whales, walked, ate, walked, watched the dolphins, walked, sat, watched more shows, rode the new ride then walked to the car, drove home, then crashed.

I know I can't say too much since I took part in Sea World and I don't really contribute anything to the cause, but for the record I would like to say that whales should not be anywhere but the ocean.
Just saying.

With my opinion aside it was a great day with my family.

San Diego: Day Two

To Balboa Park my family went. Here we died from the wet heat. To escape said heat we kept busy looking at exhibits. Half the group went to one exhibit, the rest to another. My sister and I went to the Eugene Smith exhibit in the Museum of Photographic Arts. This is where I was hit with some inspiration. Looking at such emotion rich photos reminds me of how far I have to go. It's humbling. I have so much to learn and so many areas to improve in.

We spent the afternoon at Pacific Beach.
The girls boogie boarded and the boys walked around.
Then I got stung by a jellyfish for the first time.
That hurt, but I lived.
When the sun went down we went back to the house and slept real good.

Stay tuned for day three.
